The Killingof a SacredDeer

  Yorgos Lanthimos is at it again, this time with a parable about a man undergoing a difficult ultimatum: kill a family member or watch them all get paralyzed and bleed from the eyes and die. It’s… unsettling. The film has a Kubrickian nature to it, from the many hospital dolly shots to the uncomfortably long spaghetti-eating scene. The campaign focused on the shittiness inside all of us and the artistry and guts of this singular film.
